JOB PURPOSE

• Actively support capturing prototype oven trial data following defined operating process in a safe
manner

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Maintain oven and gas analyzer system complying health and safety regulation
• Perform process trials in different scenarios for prototype oven
• Assist Sr. Engineer with experimental work and process engineering tasks

SCOPE

Authority-:
- Perform calcination in prototype oven
- Adjust wash-coat batching and coating to facilitate coating locally for oven trials
- Maintain 5S , EHS , lean practices as per site rule
- Stop proto oven trial during abnormality or emergency or normal shutdown

- Proto oven trials are very important to understand process chemistry of exhaust, calcination end
point and future standardization

PERSON SPECIFICATION
QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE
(TECHNICAL/ PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS COMPETENCY)

Degree in Chemical, process engineering or related

0 to 1 year of experience. in Batch process industry/Automotive.

Essential
- Knowledge of safety practices, prototype/ pilot/ batch process, 5S, Kaizen.
- Process knowledge
- Willingness to work hands on and get exposure in proto / experimental work

Desirable
- Knowledge of FMEA/TS16949 & auto parts manufacturing
