    Top and front views of an object are given on the back page. Do the following:
    a. Model the object in Modelling environment using mm units. (30 points),
    b. In Drafting environment use A2 size METU Template (fill the table) and
    i. Give 1:1 scale top view of the object, (10 points),
    ii. Give 1:1 scale sectional front view, cutting plane being A-A as shown on the top
    view (20 points),
    iii. Give 1:1 scale sectional right view, cutting plane being B-B as shown on the top
    view (don’t forget to rotate and align this view with respect to front view) (20
    points),
    iv. Give 3:1 scale detail view around the counter sink hole on the right view. Show
    label and scale. Put this detail view in an appropriate positon. (10 points).
    v. Export the sheet to high resolution pdf with the same name of the prt file (10
    points). DON’T delete the drafting sheet afterwards!
    c. DON’T dimension the views.

    IMPORTANT NOTES!

    • In NX; set file name ME1XX-IDno-MT2.prt


    o example: ME105-1234567-MT2.prt or ME117-1234567-MT2.prt
    • You will upload 2 files on ODTUClass:
    o ME1XX-IDno-MT2.prt and ME1XX-IDno-MT2.pdf
    • If your prt file does not contain drafting sheet, you will get zero even if you submitted
    the pdf file. If you submit only pdf file, you will get zero.
    • Sketches must be fully constraint otherwise you will lose credit.

    • If you copy any part of the homework from other students, YOU WILL GET ZERO! We
    have a way of knowing this, believe me J
