Answer: He couldn’t have called .

1.-That animal had a long tail. It’s possible that it was a cat.

It may have been possible that it was a dog.

2- The clock says 3 o’clock, but that’s impossible, I’m sure the clock
stopped.

It might not have stopped, perhaps it was an illusion.

3.- I heard a loud noise during the night. I’m guessing that it was an
ambulance.

I could have been wrongly assumed

4.-There wasn’t any food in the refrigerator. I’m sure they didn´t go
to the grocery store.

They must have gone to buy more food

3.- Read each sentence. Write advice or suggestion using should have –

Carl would have said why he didn't invite Sandra to her party.
