Pharmacists in the different countries played a fundamental role during
the COVID-19 crisis since, as is well known, they were willing to contribute
effectively to this pandemic by carrying out actions ranging from
community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, distribution, industry and as
an active agent in public health. The article highlights the relevance
and importance of the role of pharmacists in the pandemic caused by
COVID-19, and we can also see that all countries took action to
contribute to or try to minimise the repercussions of this disease. The
role they play is key to the solution to this serious situation, and it is
worth noting that their functions, which consist of the production of
drugs, contributed to the improvement of many patients who were in the
ICU, which is why we should value their performance.
