Heat counter ultrasonic BMeters HYDROSONIS UC-020-2,5-R

Purpose The HҮDROSONIS-UC meter is intended for measurement of thermal energy at heating and
cooling. It can be used for commercial measurement of energy consumption for local or central
heating systems (in residential buildings, offices, power plants and other similar premises) and cooling
systems.

Main technical characteristics & Bull; The ultrasonic principle is used to measure the coolant flow. &
Bull; Heating and cooling energy is recorded in separate registers. & Bull; Displays a list of settings
that can be configured for the user. & Bull; There are two universal pulse inputs / outputs that can be
used to connect additional pulse sources (eg water meters) or pulse outputs (for energy, volume,
etc.). & Bull; Available M-Bus interface modules, CL interface modules or wireless & nbsp; radio
receiver.
Principle of operation The meters measure the volume of the coolant using a flow sensor that
transmits ultrasonic pulses along the flow of the coolant and against it. The time of passage of the
signal from the emitter to the receiver along the flow is reduced, and the time of passage against the
flow is increased. Based on the obtained time values, the volume of the coolant is calculated. Pulses
proportional to the volume transmit this information to the computer. To equalize the flow of coolant,
ultrasonic flow meters require the presence of direct sections of the pipeline before and after the
installation site. When flowing through the device liquids with mechanical impurities (rust, sand, scale),
as well as air bubbles can be observed inaccuracies.

The nominal diameter of the pipeline must correspond to the nominal diameter of the meter. The
connection of the meter to the pipeline of larger or smaller nominal diameter is carried out by means of
cone adapters. & Nbsp;
The supply part of the pipeline is cleaned of scale, rust, sand and other solid particles. & Nbsp;
Before and after the meter it is necessary to provide installation of shut-off valves. & Nbsp;
The meter must be mounted in the pipeline without tension and skew. & Nbsp;
It is recommended to install an additional strainer in front of the meters. & Nbsp;
Fill the pipeline with water. The meters retain their characteristics only when the entire section of the
pipeline is filled with water.
