INCOME

1.1 Are incomes supported by legal and official cash receipt vouchers?
1.2 Are sources of income clearly identified, reported and proved?
1.3 Are incomes recorded in the accounting records at the right period?
1.4 Are incomes received by the responsible official?
1.5 Are income from foreign sources as per the law?
61.6 If the source of income is from IGA, is the IGA approved by CSA and IRA?

2. EXPENDITURES

2.1 Are expenditures supported by adequate supporting documents?


2.2 Are expenditures supported by legal official invoices?
2.3 Are expenditures made according to rules and regulations of the Organization?
2.4 Are payments approved by responsible official?
2.5 Are evidences supporting expenditures original?
2.6 Are purchases made according to rules and regulations of the Organization?
2.7 Are program expenditures not less than 70%?
2.8 Are profits from IGA fully used for program expenditures?

3. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

3.1 Are receiving and issues of properties supported by legal and pre printed
documents?
3.2 Are properties physical count made at the end of the accounting year?
3.3 Is fixed assets register maintained for all fixed assets of the Organization?
3.4 Are all fixed assets given identification number?
3.5 Are fixed assets kept I a secure and protected manner?
3.6 If fixed assets are received by donation, is the donor’s name identified?
3.7 Is the location of the fixed assets known and indicated in the fixed assets register?
3.8 Is the title certificate of motor vehicles in the name of the Organization?

4. CASH ON HAND

4.1 Are payments / advances settled on a timely manner?


4.2 Are cash counts being made and closed monthly?
4.3 Are the amounts of cash in safe according the rules and regulation of the
Organization?

5. ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES

5.1 Are accounts receivables collected in a timely manner?


5.2 Are receivable balances recorded clearly and separately with subsidiary ledgers?
6. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

6.1 Are all tax liabilities settled timely as per law of the tax collecting agency?

6.2 Are long term and short term liabilities recorded separately?

7. CASH AT BANK

7.1 Are subsidiary ledgers maintained for each and every bank account?
7.2 Are all bank accounts supported by monthly bank statements?
7.3 Are monthly bank reconciliations made for each bank account?
7.4 Are all banks being operated by responsible officials (signatories)?

8. COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION

8.1 Are the sources and amount of income clearly and separately identifiable?
8.2 Is the method of collection of the income correctly reported?
8.3 Are the expenses incurred for the collection of income reported clearly and
separately?
8.4 Are the activities carried out by the income reported clearly?
8.5 Are the incomes recorded properly?
8.6 Are the incomes as per the approved license by CSA?
8.7 Are the collections of the income as per the approved time table?
8.8 Are all collections made by official and legal receipts?
