Mxa00 GPS ‘The SIGMA 40 is a compact naval Inertial Navigation System (INS) and Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). An operator interface is provided via a Control and Display Unit (CDU}. ‘The Electromagnetic (EM) Log provides speed information, relative to water, to both INUs which on their tum provide this information to the DDU. ‘The GPS provides own ships position and time information to the DDU.
