Chapter IV: Technical Aspect

A. TRAINING AND EDUCATION

The Management Trainee (MT) will undergo series of training for store


managerial position.
BreadTalk Philippines will provide management trainee program to equip them
with
required knowledge, skills and abilities to become an effective and responsible
manager.

Qualifications:

· Possesses a Bachelor's degree in any course


· Preferably with at least 1-2 years working experience gained from Food & Beverage /
Bakeshop / Restaurant Service
· Must be a Customer Service oriented person
· Keen to details
· With good communication skills both oral and written
· Supervisory experience is an advantage
· Willing to work on shifting schedules and extended working hours if needed.

B. TEAMWORK
The teamwork in this company was very successful, each members shows
willingness, determination, focus and to treat people nicely.

C. Personnel Involvement

leader, George Quek. George, who comes from a humble background, started his
business in Taiwan selling Dragon Beard candy from a kiosk and later expands the
business and starts a small food business in Taiwan selling South-East Asian cuisine. It
shook up the bakery industry with its innovative and ingenious products after entering
the market with its fledgling concept of a boutique bakery. BreadTalk, the market leader
in the emerging concept bakery, was listed on the Singapore Exchange in June 2003,
giving customers a stake in the popular bakery. George Quek is armed with a never-
say-die attitude and the courage to face the impossible.

BreadTalk Group Limited operates in a highly competitive market. The bakery industry
is quite developed in China. As a market leader in Singapore, the company has been
successful in Singapore's domestic market. Steady growth and improved financial
capacity allow the company to enter the market in various countries in the region,
including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and People’s Republic of China, Oman,
Philippines, Vietnam, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. I did. , India, Thailand, Sri Lanka,
Bahrain, South Korea. The company managed to take full control of the domestic
market, but faced many problems in taking over the domestic market.

E. Continuous quality improvement:


BradTalk maintains product quality by sourcing the finest natural ingredients from
around the world, and these ingredients are specially prepared from their raw state to
create pastes or fillings in their Central Kitchen, ensuring greater product quality control.
They choose premium natural ingredients from around the world, such as high quality
100 percent Japanese-milled flour, pure butter from New Zealand made from only
grass-fed cows, and red beans from Wandan, Taiwan, which is known for cultivating red
beans that are larger and richer in flavour. In addition, premium Hokkaido milk and
Trehalose sugar (which contains about 40% less sugar than regular sugar) are used in
certain cakes. The buns and breads are then baked fresh every day at each location;
larger loaves of bread, such as our toasts, are baked at our central kitchen and
delivered to the locations. In accordance with the industry in terms quality indication,
these will be packed and labelled with the 'Best Before' date.
