In this novel named Animal Farm written by George Orwell, we see that “all
animals are equal, but some are more equal than others”. Throughout this novel
injustice is demonstrated and this impacts the community/individuals. Orwell
effectively portrays this injustice to highlight its impact.

Napoleon ruled animal farm harshly and overworked the animals. The animals
worked sixty hours a week and in August Napoleon announced that there will be
work Sunday afternoon as well. Work was strictly voluntary, but any animal who
absented himself from it would have his rations reduced by half. Napoleon uses
Squealer and the dogs to stop the animals' from asking any questions about the
windmill. Napoleon violently seizes power, he quickly justifies his takeover by
falsely denouncing his former ally and fellow revolutionary, Snowball, as a human
sympathizer and enemy of Animalism. Every bad thing that happened on the farm,
Napoleon blamed Snowball. Later, as the pigs move into the farmhouse, Squealer
makes more revisions to the official doctrine when he secretly amends the
commandment “No animal shall sleep in a bed” to “No animal shall sleep in a
bed with sheets” and revises the rule about drinking to “No animal shall drink
alcohol to excess.” The pigs even replace the old mantras with “Four legs good,
two legs better,” and ultimately, “All animals are equal, except some are more
equal than others.” When the animals catch Squealer in the act of rewriting the
commandments, they don’t seriously suspect anything, a testament to the power
the pigs’ rhetoric and language has over them. Napoleon abuses his power
in exploiting Boxer's goodness and loyalty. Napoleon uses Squealer to maintain his
dictatorship through propaganda and fear, “He could turn black into white”.
Squealer changes and distorts the Seven Commandments. The pigs’ slogans and
catchphrases have brainwashed the other animals to such an extent that even when
the dogs slaughter dozens of animals

Napoleon’s action affected all the animals. Boxer was one of them. Boxer was a
strong but gullible horse. He would get up half an hour earlier than the other
animals. Boxer will always say “Napoleon is always right” and his motto was “I
will work harder”. Well one day, Boxer’s strength fails; he collapses while pulling
stone for the windmill. Later, Squealer announces that the doctors could not cure
Boxer: he has died at the hospital.

This novel is an allegory of The Russian Revolution. This aspect of the story
symbolizes human violence in today’s culture. In the book, the different animal
species get separated into social groups according to their intelligence
and education. In this novel, the author uses irony to emphasize his theme of how
the animals' original goal is corrupted by the pigs' self-indulgent acts. The irony is
used to show how the commandments are being altered, how the animals are not
being treated equally under Napoleon's dictatorship, and how pigs begin to act like
humans.

In retrospect, inequality among animals is seen in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. 

This injustice is evident throughout the novel, and it has a great impact on Boxer.
