Introduction to the company:

Steel Tech BOP is a synergistic approach to the manufacture of

BOP products. Over 80 years of combined experience in related fields
Including Casting, Machining, Procurement, and Service integrated
into one outstanding new product. Direct contact between all levels
of the organization simplifies and improves the product. Skilled
technicians working together within their area of expertise bring to
you the cultivation of their efforts in the Steel Tech TGR Gate Ram
and TA Annular BOPs.
North American based, the Castings are all 100% inspected for
Material and Chemical specifications as listed in the applicable ASTM
manual. Finished products will be shipped together with the complete
data package verifying manufacturing standards meet or exceed the
listed API 16A standard and regulation. The majority of
manufacturing will be performed within Canada and inspections
performed are as detailed within said governments current standard
and testing bodies regulations.
Every BOP manufactured will bear the standard, “H2S Trim.” This
standard will be assured via the document package detailing
specifications for all well bore exposed parts. Standards are
maintained as per the MR0175 and API 16A standards in place at the
time of manufacture

Terms and Conditions of Sale
1)SHIPPING: All shipments are F.O.B. our Calgary warehouse, unless otherwise quoted.
2)CURRENCY: All invoices are issued in Canadian funds. However, conversion to a customer’s
currency choice can be shown on invoice. Payment is acceptable in Currency
specified.
3)QUOTATIONS: Quotations are valid only for the length of time and upon the terms specified in
each quotation.
4)WARRANTY: Steel Tech BOP LP warrants all materials, products and supplies
manufactured by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship under
normal use and service when installed and used in the manner intended by Steel
Tech for a period not to exceed one (1) year after delivery. Steeel Tech’s
obligation under this warranty is expressly limited (parts and labour) to repair
or replacement, at its option of any material, products or supplies returned to
Steel Tech, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and which are determined by Steel Tech
to be defective. All freight or delivery charges are for customer’s account.
This is the sole warranty of Steel Tech and no other warranty is applicable, either
expressed or implied, in fact or by law.

Products or parts not of Steel Tech manufacture are subject to whatever warranty or guarantee extended to
Steel Tech by the supplier or manufacturer thereof.

Steel Tech makes no warranty with respect to:

a) failures not reported to Steel Tech within the warranty period specified above;

b) failures or damage due to misapplication, abuse, improper installation or abnormal

conditions of temperature, dirt or corrosive matter;

c) failures due to operation, either intentional or otherwise, above rated capacities or in an otherwise improper
manner;

d) products which have been in any way tampered with or altered by anyone other than an authorized represen-
tative of Steel Tech.

e) products damaged in shipment or otherwise without fault of Steel Tech;

f) expenses incurred by customer in an attempt to repair or rework any alleged defective products;

g) failures due to lack of compliance with recommended maintenance procedures; and

h) products rebuilt, welded, heat-treated or subjected to similar processes performed by other than Steel
Tech.

5) TERMS OF PAYMENT: Net 30 days upon approved credit.

6) INSURANCE: Responsibility of the goods passes upon acceptance by the carrier. We provide no insurance on
goods in transit, other than what is covered by the carrier’s bill of lading. Any additional insurance is the
responsibility of our customer.

7) TAXES: The amount of any sales, excise or other taxes, if any, applicable to the goods
covered by an order, shall be added to the invoice as~EXTRA.
8) RETURNED GOODS: Prior permission must be obtained before returning material to us for credit. Shipments must be re-
turned freight prepaid to Steel Tech’s designated location before credit can be issued. A restocking charge
will be made on all orders returned for credit and any costs that may be necessary to return material to
saleable condition will also be charged. No material will be accepted for credit after thirty (30) days from
date of purchase. Products of special design or equipment altered to fit Buyer’s specifications will not be
accepted for credit.
9) CANCELLATION OF ORDER: When an order has been accepted by Steel Tech it may not be
cancelled without our written permission. Cancellation terms will include
compensation for expenses incurred after such order was accepted. Orders for
products or parts of special order design, size or materials are not subject to cancellation after we have
accepted the order.
