Week 13

The thirteenth week of my internship was differently the most interesting one to date. All

of the students participated in their Cadet Tests this week in order to see their rankings amongst

other middle school students across the nation. Each student performed their mile tests, push up

test, sit up test, shuttle run, long reach, and jump tests Monday through Thursday in order to

fulfill their academic and physical requirements. Each day was different from the one previous as

students excelled in different areas except for one student in particular that excelled in every

category. This student exceeded all expectations and was a diamond in the rough through the

whole semester. This student often keeps to themselves, never complains, and always does all we

ask of them with great integrity. Friday all students were able to participate in their normal free

day in which most classes chose to play kickball as they did not get to do so at the beginning of

the week due to Cadet Tests. This week was altogether exciting and interesting as the students

completed their tests but were also able to complete another survey in order to better help me in

my final presentation to Coach Courson this week.
