2021 NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MONTH CELEBRATION

POSTER MAKING CONTEST GUIDELINES

1. 1 (one) entry per district (Elementary and Secondary).


2. Only bona fide students of the schools within the municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del
Sur are qualified to join.
3. Certification of enrollment duly signed by the School Head will serve as the registration
form. A copy of which must be sent to the e-mail address alvin.flores004@gmail.com on or
before November 12, 2021.
4. The poster must illustrate, interpret, and emphasize the theme
“New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan”
5. The contest will start at exactly 8:00 A.M. via Google Meet on November 18, 2021.
6. Participants are only given 3 hours and 30 minutes to do their task. A corresponding
deduction will be imposed for contestants who exceed the allotted time. 1 (one) point for
every minute.
7. The following materials will be used and are provided by the LGU:
a. ½ size illustration board
b. Mongol pencil (any number)
c. Oil pastel
d. Pentel Pen
e. Ruler

(All of these materials will be claimed on November 15, 2021 at MSWD)

8. Poster must be done free-hand.


9. Participants will be held accountable to any issues that may arise with regard to the
originality and authenticity of the design.
10. The poster will be judged according to the following criteria:
Creativity 40%
Relevance to the Theme 40%
Originality 20%
TOTAL 100%
11. Judging of entries and proclamation of winners will be on November 26, 2021.
12. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

SPOKEN POETRY GUIDELINES

1. (One) entry per district (Secondary).


2. Only bona fide students of the schools within the municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del
Sur are qualified to join.
3. Certification of enrollment duly signed by the School Head will serve as the registration
form. A copy of which must be sent to the e-mail address escajohn21@gmail.com on or
before November 12, 2021.
4. Participants must compose a piece about the theme
“New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan”
5. The participants will send their entry on November 18, 2021 via email address
escajohn21@gmail.com. If the participants submitted their entry beyond the last day of
submission, 3 points will be deducted on their final score automatically.
6. Participants can use any language.
7. Total running time of performance is 2-3 minutes.
8. Participants may use background music ft. their own choice.
9. The participants will be judged according to the following criteria:
Content 40%
Mastery 30%
Artistry 20%
Over – all Impact 10%
TOTAL 100%
10. Judging of entries and proclamation of winners will be on November 26, 2021.
11. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
