STATISTICS TASK

STBA LIA Yogyakarta has distributed questionnaires to the students to get data to make
some policies

related to marketing and academic policies. Sixty-five (65) students filled in the
questionnaires. From the

data, STBA LIA wants You, as an analyst, to make a report for the representatives of STBA
LIA.

Provide the following data:

1. Table of frequencies of each variable.

2. Who often uses the library?

3. Who gets a scholarship?

4. Who takes an English Course elsewhere?

6. Who often uses the library?

7. Does reading books and taking English Courses affect the students’ GPA?

8. Based on the regions, where do students get information about STBA?

2. Women go to the library more often than men do. The data from 65 students listed
shows 50 of women and 15 of men or 75.8% of women and 22.7 of men.
3. The data shows only 17 people who get the scholarship. The mostly come from Java.
4. The data shows that 31 students take an English course elsewhere which mostly come
from come from outside Java.
5. The data shows that 20 people often read books. Most of them are women.
6. Same as question number 2
7. Yes, some students who take an English course and read books have the score above
3.00.
8. The data shows that the students get information from IG. They mostly come from
Java.
9. The students choose STBA because of its programs.
10. As what I have analized, most of the students get the information on IG. So, I think
that STBA have to advertise their programs more often on IG to attract users’ interest.
