ID Fresh Food is a leading food industry that is providing several flavors of Idli and Dosa
like Ragi Idli/Dosa batter, Rice Rava Idli batter, Malabar Parota, and Whole Wheat & Oats
Dosa. Basically, it offers ready to cook package food at home. it wasn’t easy to sell the south
Indian traditional foods like that. Back in the time, his cousins used to sell Idli and Dosa on
the street. Having an innovative business idea made PC Mustafa start this business.
The company which laid its foundation by making ten packets of 1 kilogram batter a day,
now manufactures 50,000 packages daily with a team of 1300 employees from different
locations in India and one in Dubai.

They faced a lot of challenges during and after the inception of the business.

 The concept of fresh, natural, preservative free was hard for not just the consumers to
believe but also the retailers and employees. There is no brand in the ready-to-cook
segment which offers products that are free of additives and are 100% natural. It took
some time to them to convince people and educate them about their core brand values
which are- fresh, natural, no chemicals, traditionally made and authentic.

 Besides they cater to the fresh food segment and hence the wastage is high.

 Another main challenge faced by them where were none of them having any sort of
background in food technology or food industry.

 As a team they adhere to certain principles and hence they always believe in growing
business ethically aligned to there core values.

This made them success in the market.

He is also part of Indian Philanthropy Initiative, PC works closely with Directorate of Indian
Army Veterans (DIAV) for the welfare of Army Martyrs’ kin. He is also part of the Prime
Minister’s ‘Champions of Change’ team with a vision to build a new India by 2022.
