A LIFE LESSON I HAVE LEARNED

I have always been a child that is grown up in my parents' spoils, so I am the type of
person who will get whatever I want. However, the occasion happening last July gave me a
hard lesson I will never ever forget. I called my crush, who lives half-an-hour away from me,
to get a chance to see him for the last time. I decided to give him the books that I bought, and
hand him a love letter I spent a whole night writing and say 'goodbye' as a best fighter in the
war against his other crushes. I planned on not driving home that afternoon, crying a lot but

he just said 'no'. He didn’t want to see me anymore, though I really hoped that he would give
me a chance to see his face gain. That was the day I learned that although my parents could
give me anything I desire, there won't be a second person who will treat me like that.
