Project Mango site and construction.

This was a rare opportunity to meet DeVoe Moore, one of the state's most prominent real

estate developers and see the construction of one of the most innovative commercial

development projects from a unique vantage point: DeVoe Moore's home. This view

gave us a sense of the sweep of the construction.

The Project Mango site is a state-of-the art amazon distribution facility. Most of the work inside

the facility will be automated and robotic. The project is estimated to create upwards of 1,000

jobs, all starting at $15 / hr (or possibly $17 / hr).

Mr. Moore provided students and DMC staff with significant insight into how the project came

about.
