Wisconsin Voter Photo ID

What College & University Students need to know

To vote in any election in Wisconsin, you MUST present an acceptable Photo ID
Address on your photo ID does not have to be current!

You can use your:

WI Driver’s License or State ID Card
(Expires after 11/6/2018)

US Passport
(Expires after 11/6/2018)

Military ID Card
(Expires after 11/6/2018)

Veterans Affairs ID Card

(Unexpired or no expiration date)
Or you can use a ID Card from federally-recognized
WI Tribe (Can be expired)
Student Photo ID Card Certificate of Naturalization
If it was issued by an accredited Wisconsin (Issued within 2 years prior to election)

university or college (All UW System Receipt for Driver’s License or

schools and most private colleges in State ID Card (Valid for 45 days)
