    PhD 196 – 420 12 words x 21 lines = 252 Not exceeding
    thesis/dissertation words 100,000 words

    Master 198 – 220 12 words x 21 lines = 252 Not exceeding
    thesis/dissertation words 50,000 words

    50000252=198.4
    Research paper 99 – 120 12 words x 21 lines = 252 Not exceeding

    * The above total number of words includes the main text only and does not include
    footnotes, exhibits, figures, tables, graphs, appendices, bibliographies, etc.

    Procedures:
    a. Application should be made to the respective Centre of Studies for recommendation.
    b. Such application should be made as follows:

    Master’s thesis/ 1 month before making the first submission of the
    dissertation thesis/dissertation/ research
    PhD thesis/dissertation 3 months before making the first submission of the thesis/
    dissertation/research
