SUBJECT: OFFLINE AND ONLINE CLASSES PROPOSED BY THE GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES FROM 25 OCTOBER 2021

With reference to the above, as per direction of the Government authorities, the consent of
every parent is mandatory for us to permit their ward into the school premises. Without parental consent, we
will not be in a position to allow the students into the school campus.
Covid protocols will be followed including use of masks, thermal screening, social distancing, sanitising at
frequent intervals, etc. Kindly advise your ward to follow the same in the interest of the whole community.
Thermal Screening of students will be done by the security personnel before allowing students into the school
campus.

We further bring to the attention of all parents that from our previous experience, we have noticed that parents
tend to send their children to school even if the child shows symptoms of mild fever, headache, running nose,
cough, cold etc. In accordance with COVID safety guidelines students with any of the above symptoms will be
sent back home to prevent contact with others.

The Government authorities have made it very clear that offline classes are not mandatory.
Therefore, we are providing a hybrid programme which will definitely have certain
disadvantages as we have to handle both online and offline sessions simultaneously. We are
sure that parents will understand the difficulties of teaching in the present environment and
situation.

We would also like to remind parents who have not paid the school fees to kindly do so
immediately. As per Supreme Court judgment, those with genuine difficulties due to COVID
circumstances, in terms of loss of job/income, can approach the school authorities with proof of their situation.
We will definitely extend our support to such parents and their children.

Also, as per the Supreme Court judgment, schools are at liberty to take appropriate action to recover fees from
parents. We are thinking of how to enforce this direction of the Supreme Court. It will be embarrassing for
parents, teachers and concerned students if the children’s names are notified as defaulters. We do appreciate
and also request parents to extend all support and cooperation in this regard.
