 Identify different road signs and symbols and understand their meaning
based on their color classification and features.
 Discuss the importance of different sign and symbols.
 Create own sign or symbol, mall or road using the lesson discussed

Pair it up!

The class will divide into two groups.

The group task is to pair the

signs&symbols tot their corresponding
meaning. There will be 10 cards, 5
contains the sign and symbols and the
other five is the meaning.
Each Player will only have one try to turn
over any two cards.
The group that will finish first with
complete pairs will win.

a. Activity
The student will watch some video clip (Students will watch and take down
and take down important notes)
details/information in the video. After that
I will going to ask some few question.

b. Analysis
Where do you commonly see these signs
and symbols?

What are the use of these signs and

symbols?

c. Abstraction
Why are signs and symbols important in Safety signs and symbols are
communication? important safety communicating tools,
they help to indicate various hazards that
present in plant site or workplace. At the
same time, they warn workers to always
keep watching out for those hazards by
giving required information and safety
instructions.

d. Application
Create your own signs and symbols

V. Assignment
 The class will divide into four groups and each group will be assigned to
observe different signs and symbols found in various places. They need to take a
picture or list the signs and symbols. Next meeting they will present their findings in
the class.

Group 3- Road/Streets
Group 4- Public Vehicles
