COMPARE AND CONTRAST ESSAY: MY TRADITIONAL CLASSES AT ICPNA VS MY ONLINE

CLASSES AT ICPNA

My new home learning system! I had never imagined sitting at home taking virtual classes
without being able to go to the Icpna language center where I currently study. Although this
virtual modality had many difficulties at the beginning, I could be subsequent with my studies.
However, despite sharing some superficial similarities and differences between a traditional
class and an online class are significantly noticeable in my Study of English. In the following
paragraphs, you will read about some similarities and differences I found between face-to-face
classes at Icpna and my online classes at Icpna.

First off, let me tell you about my face-to-face class. I remember that when my English
class was face-to-face, I liked interacting with the teachers and my classmates, I also
remember that my English teacher told his students, "The students who participate in the class
will have a rewarding collaboration." For that reason, the classes were very dynamic because
of the games the teacher made everyone participated in, even though there were more than
30 students in the class and the study space was small, we learned better so students admitted
that they were excited to learn about the course. Sometimes when I did not understand
something, I resorted to the library to make use of their books since I felt that I had to
collaborate with my learning as many teachers say that students who didn't learn more easily
would forget what they had learned in class.

On the other hand, in the online class, it is difficult to interact with the teacher since it
gives us little time to finish what is assigned by him even though there are less than 30
students the time and the internet connection that sometimes may fail makes this more
difficult. Sometimes I say, "I would like to be able to return to my face-to-face classes to be
able to participate frequently" since, virtual classes are not dynamic for the learning of
students because teachers have certain times for each topic and after class there is no means
of communication between students and teachers so, we cannot contact each other. About
the use of virtual books, it is sometimes difficult to study through it since the annotations we
make are usually eliminated.

All in all. It's clear that virtual classes do not impede to stop studying despite the
differences that may exist between the two, students should continue with their studies since
thanks to technology we can solve our doubts.
