Task
As a technician engineer in palm oil plantation you must to understand the processes in either palm oil
mill or palm oil refining. A student needs to prepare a video of the palm oil processing as virtual plant
visit (either palm oil mill or palm oil refining). After the virtual plant visit activity, you need to prepare a
field trip report. Please follow all the rubrics as given in the attachment.

Objectives
This individual activity requires student to visit (virtual: ex: website etc.) a palm oil refinery or milling.

Assessment

The field video and one (1) page summary report should include (but not limited to) the following:
i. The background of the company
ii. Brief description of involved key processes (refining or milling) in the plant
iii. Characteristics of palm oil products that had been produced.
iv. Palm oil products utilization and demand of the company.
v. The overview of oil palm supply chain
vi. Sustainable framework that had being applied in the plant
vii. Appendices
Video:
i. Your video durations from 3 – 5 minutes.
ii. You need to explain the process either milling/refining in your video.
iii. The bonus marks will be given for creative video compilation.

One (1) page summary:

i. Margins. 2.0 cm for top and bottom and 2.5 cm for left and right sides.
ii. Font. Arial. Font size for the report title and name is 14 and, in bold, with the rest of the report
in font size 11.
iii. Spacing. Lines and paragraphs should be spaced at single spacing.

Due date: 3 Nov 2021 (online submission)
