Sub: Absence of Dust Cover in Megaphone P/N ACREMIA installed in

A320 fleet.

There have been numerous instances in the recent past wherein

cabin crew have reported in the CDR of missing dust cover in the
megaphone installed in our A320 family fleet.

After getting clarification from Engineering Department on the

subject they confirmed that dust cover is not a part of standard
megaphone. Hence, dust cover is not a part of megaphone preflight
check for the cabin crew.

In view of the above, all cabin crew need not check for presence
of dust cover in the megaphone as a part of the preflight check.

The above is for information of all A320 family pilots and compliance by
all cabin crew.
