SIMULATED ANNEALING
Defined a set of conditions that, if met, ensure the random walk will sample from
probability distribution at equilibrium.
His algorithm simulates the change in energy of the material when it subjected to
cooling process until it reaches a steady “frozen” state.

The convergence theory dictates a certain form of cooling schedule that is not
practical to use.
However, the results give SA a theoretical backing not always possible with
heuristic methods.
Disadvantages:
A lot of computer time for many runs,
A lot of tuneable parameters.
