We hope that everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Thank you to everyone that was
able to join us for our November PTO Meeting. In case you missed it, minutes from the
meeting can be found HERE.

As we head into the holiday season, we continue to find ways that our Indian Trail Family
can give back and support families in our very own community. We hope that you will join
us in doing so.

Donations may be dropped off in the front vestibule bin by parents or students. If
we reach our goal, the students will get to celebrate with a Pajama Day!

Currenly only 15 of the 56 children we have pledged gifts for have been selected.

This week we are thankful for Tonia
Dimitriou, Julie Pedraza, Amanda Mor, &
Stacey Price, from the Hospitality
Committee, for organizing and serving staff
conference dinners from Backyard Grill and
Country Kitchen as well as arranging a
variety of snacks and drinks.

Thank you also to Christina Mann for

delivering our fall leaf and hedgehog cards
to Sunrise Senior Living.
 Did you know that one in four NSSD112 students qualify as low income, making them
eligible for free/reduced lunch? That means that these students will eat meals at school,
but may not have nutritious food on Saturday or Sunday. Blessings in a Backpack aims
to fill in this gap and feed the hungry by sending home weekend food bags with these
children each Friday.

The Highland Park Chapter is currently serving 160 kids from Braeside, Green Bay,
Indian Trail, Ravinia, and Wayne Thomas Schools. This is the largest number of kids
they have served since the program began in 2014.

$130 provides a weekend bag of food for one child for the entire school year. Please
consider donating to feed our students. IT PTO is matching our families' donations until
we reach our donation goal of $4500.
