Theme: “Pagpapaunlad ng Pagkatao, Pakikipagkapuwa at pananampalataya: Hamon sa


Panahon ng Pandemiya”

I. Rationale

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 479 dated October 25, 1994
declaring the month of November of every year as “Filipino Values Month” in full
support to the program, all school are reminded and encourage to participate in the
celebration by conducting varied activities that will instill Filipino Values among
students.

Pursuant to the RA No. 10661 an act declaring November of every year as


National Children’s Month, RA No. 11369 or the National Students’ Act, D.O No. 40, S,
2012 – DepEd Child Protection Policy and Republic Act No. 11369 or the National
Students’ Act declaring November 17 of every year as National Students’ Day schools
are encouraged to provide activities that will promote the right of the Children and
develop leadership skills among students.
The celebration seeks to promote greater consciousness of values that are uniquely and
positively practiced by Filipinos, specifically, it aims to:

 Encourage learners’ creative talents through participation in various activities;


 To recognize the value of inculcating love of country and social responsibility among
the youth;
 To foster leadership among Filipino students;
 Intensify public awareness and campaign on the rights of children and remind all
sectors to be responsible in raising Filipino children for them to reach their full
potential;
 Promote a child-friendly and child-sensitive healthy environment and governance
across school communities and offices and
 Establish a shared vision and to strengthen partnership with lead agencies and local
non-government agencies in promoting the rights of every child.

1. Poster Making Contest


1. The Poster making is open to all Grade 7 to 12 students of Boso Boso National High
School.
2. The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme: “Pagpapaunlad ng
Pagkatao, Pakikipagkapuwa at pananampalataya: Hamon sa Panahon ng
Pandemiya”
3. The poster will be made in students houses;
4. The following materials will be used in poster making:
a. Short bond paper and pencil
b. Coloring materials: any available coloring materials in your houses.
5. Their work will be rated using the criteria below:
a. Creativity………………………………………. 30%
b. Neatness………………………………………. 15%
c. Relevance to the theme…………………… 40%
d. Originality …………………………………….. 15%

6. Students’ entries must be submitted to Mr. Rex O. Gonzales from November 15-22,
2021.

2. Slogan Making
1. The slogan making is open to all Grade 7-12students of Boso Boso National High
School;
2. The students will create their slogan in their houses in a short bond paper and they
can use any available materials like, crayons, color pencils, markers, and recyclable
or indigenous materials in their design;
3. The students must make their own slogan based on the theme: “Pagpapaunlad ng
Pagkatao, Pakikipagkapuwa at pananampalataya: Hamon sa Panahon ng
Pandemiya”
4. There will be two categories for this contest (English and Filipino)
5. Their output must be rated using the criteria below:
a. Creativity………………………………………. 30%
b. Neatness………………………………………. 15%

4. Tiktok Video Contest
1. Tiktok Video Contest is open to all grade 7 to 12 students of Boso Boso National
High School.
2. The theme for the contest will be “Pagpapaunlad ng Pagkatao, Pakikipagkapuwa
at pananampalataya: Hamon sa Panahon ng Pandemiya”
3. The time allotted for very entry will be 2-3 minutes only.
4. The video will be rated based on the following criteria:
