MOVING UP CEREMONY

I. INTRO
Arlyn: Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.
Arvin: School year 2020-2021 has been the most challenging school year to all the teachers, parents and
students of MIS because of COVID-19 and knowing that we have finally come to this point means that WE
MADE IT!
Arlyn: Good morning and welcome to

Both: The ___ JHS Moving Up Ceremony of Moreno Integrated School with the theme:

Arvin: “Kalidad ng Edukasyon Lalong Patatagin sa Gitna ng Pandemya/ Strengthening the Quality of
Education Amid the Covid-19 Pandemic”

Arlyn: Allow me to acknowledge the presence and the efforts of the following in making this celebration
possible: Our SDS, Ma’am Nympha D. Guemo, our school principal II, Ma’am Alicia I, Quinito, our
assistant school principal II, Ma’am Aileen C. Sindac, the grade 10 advisers headed by the grade 10 level
chairman, Ma’am Sheryl R. Macuha, the head teachers and master teachers of MIS, Parents and students.
Maraming salamat po.

II. NATIONAL ANTHEM

Arvin: Let us show our deference as we sing the National Anthem followed by the invocation, Bicol
Regional March and Deped Division Hymn.

III. OPENING REMARKS

Arlyn: To set the tone for this afternoon’s event, let us put our hands together for our Asst. School
Principal II, Ma’am Aileen C. Sindac.

IV. WELCOME REMARKS

Arvin: Thank you so much Ma’am Aileen C. Sindac for your very warm words of welcome! Recognition
Rites, Moving Up and graduation ceremonies have become the most awaited events every after school
year and I know how much our Grade 10 students struggled, persevered and survived despite the
challenges they have confronted brought about by COVID-19. Students, this is now your moment to
celebrate because we will have now on-screen our School Principal II, Ma’am Alicia I. Quinito for the
presentation of candidates for completion.

Arlyn: There you have it completers. Congratulations and we, the Moreno Integrated School, are so
proud of you!

V. GUEST SPEAKER/INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGES

Arvin: At this juncture, let us be emboldened with the inspirational message from our Guest of Honor for
 today. May we call in the Master Teacher II of Filipino Department, Ma’am Sonia G. Notorio for the
introduction of the guest speaker.

Arlyn: Thank you so much Ms. Wency P. Villamora. Indeed, your words will serve as a map and a guide for
our dear completers as they enter a new journey next school year. Maraming salamat po.

Arvin: Another inspirational message will be given by the Schools Division Superintendent of the Division
of Camarines Norte, Nympha D. Guemo.

Arlyn: Thank you so much Ma’am Nympha D. Guemo. Thank you for your motivating message and for
giving this momentous occasion to our dear completers and parents to celebrate this humbling achievement.
So now, another message will be delivered by our Deped Secretary, Leonor R. Briones.

VI. DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES AND AWARDING OF MEDALS

Arvin: We thank our Deped Secretary, Leonor R. Briones for that heartfelt and inspiring words of wisdom,
encouragement and recognition.

Arlyn: After four years of hardwork and dedication, completers, it is about time to reward your commitment
towards education. Reap the fruits of your labor as we start the awarding of medals for excellence.

Arvin: Congratulations, completers! You have now seen the result of your hardwork and dedication. May this
serve as your motivation to do more for excellence in the next journey you are about to tread. Again,
congratulations!

VII. Pledge of Loyalty

Arvin: Now , to lead the PLEDGE OF LOYALTY, may we call in Ashley Flor A. Azana, with high honors.
Arlyn: May we give you this moment to feel the milestone you have achieved as you sing your completion
song.

VIII. WORDS OF GRATITUDE

Both: Congratulations, completers!

Arlyn: At this point, let us be all ears to the Grade 10 Year Level Coordinator, Ma’am Maria Sheryl R.
Macuha.

IX. OUTRO
Arvin: Thank you Ma’am Sheryl. This Moving Up Ceremony has truly been noteworthy for everyone here.
It is indeed a time of taking a big step in your lives as students.
Arlyn: It is also a time of celebration and achievement and most importantly, a beginning for each and
everyone of you here. You now have the golden key to unlock many doors of opportunities ahead of you.
Arvin: So we would like to congratulate once again our completers for the school year 2020-2021 with
their loving parents and supportive advisers.
