Honey Lip Balm

Melt one teaspoon of beeswax with one teaspoon of honey. Add two teaspoons of almond oil. Whisk together until well
combined; pour into a small pot and let set before using.

Honey Lip Balm

2 tsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp. honey

1/2 tsp. beeswax 3 drops essential oil
1/2 tsp. cocoa butter 1 vitamin E capsule

Measure oil, beeswax and cocoa butter into a glass or enamel pan. Melt over low heat. A hotplate works well and
reduces the risk of overheating the oils.
Stir the mixture often until the wax is melted. Remove from heat and stir in the honey and essential oil. Pinch open the
vitamin E capsule and squeeze the contents into the mixture. Stir well. Pour the mixture into containers.

a) Melt 10 parts lard with 3 parts beeswax on low heat and let cool again. Now stir in 2 parts herb oil. This keeps for
more then a year.
b) Mix 1 tsp fresh juiced herb with 2 tsp pig lard. Melt and keep on low heat until all liquid is dissolved. Now strain the
warm liquid and let cool in a small jar. Store up to half a year.
c) Grind 1 part dried herb in a mortar. Then give it to 5 parts lard and melt it on low heat. Add 1-2 parts beeswax if you
wish.

Honey Hand Cream

Once you've made it, keep it in the fridge and it should last for up to a week. Hopefully by that point your hands should
feel a lot less sore.

4oz softened lard 1 tablespoon clear or set honey

2 egg yolks a few drops rosewater
1 tablespoon finely ground almonds

Mix the softened lard with egg yolks, clear or set honey, finely ground almonds and a few drops of rosewater.
Massage this cream into your hands.

Original Skin Cream Formula:

4 ounces almond oil
3 ounces lard
1 ounce spermaceti
onion juice (a "chunk" juiced through a garlic press)
rose water for scent
**Refrigerate**

author suggests substituting olive oil for the lard and shaved or chopped candle wax for the spermaceti.

Revised Formula
4 ounces almond oil
3 ounces extra virgin olive oil or lard
1 ounce shaved candle wax (I used bees wax )
onion juice (I used more of a hunk than a chunk)
scent--it has to be oil soluble (I'm going to try essential oil of vanilla)
