Lesson Objective:

Student will complete a KWL Chart about farming. After listening to the book, The Farmer, students will watch ‘What Do Farmers Do

Procedures:

1. Share the book, The Farmer with the students.

2. Discuss the story.

3. Complete KWL Chart about what they know about farming using Doc Cam to model.

4. Students will watch the video ‘What Do Farmers Do?’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQRxCMaG6fg

5. Students will complete the ‘Learn’ section of their KWL Chart providing at least 3 things they learned about farming.

6. Students will share what they learned about farming.
