MVRDV is a Rotterdam, Netherlands-based architecture and urban


design practice founded in 1993 by Winy Maas, Jacob van Rijs and Nathalie
de Vries.
The reason behind choosing this website is that the variety of design choices
in their website shows that MVRDV is not develop a specific style
of architecture, but they provide and develop different methods in
designing architecture and urban space. the website contains a detailed
information about their projects, teams, future ideas. MVRDV’s tagline is “We
create happy and adventurous places. Innovative, social, green, realistic and
remarkable architecture for a changing world”. Their every project will become
landmark of that specific place. Even though the project is bigger they always
try to add new qualities.
Their vision is to develop structure and city in economic, cultural and social
ways toward better future. They always think practically of their client’s need
and try to see as an opportunity for new creation. Their focus is on living life
with work and play. Website has their every project divided into groups like
public , houses etc. with many photographs with information. Every project
has its own speciality, from them Depot Bojimans Van Beuningen, Villa
VPRO, Market Hall, Rotterdam, Traumhaus Funari, Dutch Pavilion at the
Hannover World Exhibition Expo 2000 and many more.

Website shows MVRDV’s speciality of combining nature, culture, and


entertainment with green ladscaped building also mixed used development.
Their website also includes their future projects, new technology, ideas which
helps city to become innovative, news and events related to their employees
and works.
By seeing this website viewers/clients can take decision easily.
MVRDV is a family of 318 creative minds which is the strength of this firm ,
creates unique places which helps city to become famous and modern. Their
team is divided into many groups like busisness development, public relations,
contract management, interiors, human resources, finance, facility and
operations, office support etc. Which shows that they are careful about every
small or big things like how they interact with public then their needs, facilities,
budget which also helps them to increase their contracts and projects.
MVRDV also published a manifesto of its work and ideas in FARMAX (1998),
followed by MetaCity/Datatown (1999), The Vertical Village (with The Why
Factory, 2012) and the firm’s first monograph of built works MVRDV Buildings
(2013, with an updated edition published in 2015).
Since 1992 MVRDV has received 141 awards and nominations. They have
worked in 47 countries by creating single family homes to public buildings with
845 spaces to live, work and play urban projects, skyscrapers, shopping
space, theaters, clubs, with partners worldwide.
MVRDV redefine typologies, they revolutionise every aspect of human life by
