THAILAND PASS TRAVELLER JOURNEY

Prepare the required documents


• Passport.
• Thai Visa (if required).
• COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
• Insurance with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD.
• Confirmation and payment receipt for accommodation reservation at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, including
RT-PCR test fee THB 5,000++ per person and limousine service THB 3,700 maximum 2 pax or
THB 4,000 maximum 5 pax (pre-payment for first night of accommodation only is required).
The hotel will provide you with one confirmation receipt for all three services.
• Ensure that you have had a minimum of 21 days or more in one of the approved countries or territories before travel.

Obtain your Thailand Pass by registering on tp.consular.go.th (a minimum of 7 days prior to departure)
• Fill in your details and upload the required documents (as described above).
• Wait for the pre-approval of your vaccination certificate (approximately 3 days)
• Obtain your Thailand Pass QR Code.

Pre-flight
• Get a COVID-19 RT-PCR test 72 hours before departure with a negative result for all travellers.
• Ensure you bring a printed copy of the negative result with you when travelling and we strongly
recommend you bring a printed copy of all documentation related to your travel and vaccination status.

Arrive in Thailand
• Have your Thailand Pass QR Code and COVID-19 RT-PCR test result checked by officers.
• Present proof of double-vaccination against COVID-19 for age 12 and over. Thailand’s current rules require a double
vaccination, including children aged 12 and over. Thailand also now accepts a Medical Certificate of Recovery
showing the traveller has recovered from COVID-19 no more than three months ago.
• Pass through disease control and immigration checkpoints.
• Proceed directly to Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok via our pre-booked limousine for your COVID-19 RT-PCR test.
Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is proud to partner with BNH Hospital, one of the Kingdom’s leading private
hospitals. The Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok BNH PCR Testing Clinic will operate from beside the hotel 7 days
per week and your result will be returned in 4 to 6 hours. Please note that children between 6 years to 12 years
will have a saliva test.
• Once testing is completed, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok’s colleague will escort you to your room or suite where,
as per government policy, you will be asked to relax until your RT-PCR test result is returned. During this time we
are delighted to serve you in the comfort of your room or suite. The hospital will notify the hotel directly of your
result after which time you are able to move freely throughout the hotel and the Kingdom of Thailand as you choose.
• Once your RT-PCR negative test result is confirmed you will also receive an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) for self testing
on day 6 or 7.

During your stay in Thailand


• After a negative test result is received you can travel anywhere in Thailand.
• Travelers must complete a self-test on day 6 or 7 using their Antigen Test Kit.
• Show the result to staff at the accommodation and log your result in the MorChana app.

On Departure
• The Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok BNH PCR Testing Clinic is available for all guests who may also require
a negative PCR test to depart the country under airline or destination country requirements. This test should be
taken 24 to 48 hours before departure.
