About the Event:
• The event started with a formal introduction of Mr. Devendra Kumar Goyal by Ms.
Sakina Shahid
• In this session he highlighted the ought to be major concerning topic “Waste
Management”.
● He discussed some points regarding countries progress over this sector of WM.
● He explained about how the cooperate sector is not only focusing on doing the
business but also doing it in the correct manner.
● He shared all the points which Waste Management offers like environmental
stewardship, industry expertise, reliability etc.
• How can the technologies used for the waste treatment also make sure of not
impacting environment.
• He explained four core WM Businesses which are most important part of this
business.
• He highlighted all the benefits they got through the technologies in their WM
business.
• He concluded the session by explaining the last part of his presentation
“Opportunities for Startup in E-waste Management in India ” and then he addressed the
questions and doubts of the participants to make the session more productive and
understandable.
• At the end vote of thanks was given by Prof. Rashid Shekh, Associate Professor, CSE
Department.

Key learning’s:
● In this Waste Management business there are many guidelines which are meant to
be followed as it’s more about environment than business gain.
● There are four main factors which are making a good business waste management:
Collection, Transfer, Landfill and Recycling
● Some improvements are meant to happen in India to make a good progress in WM
like as in foreign countries.
