Program Counter

Prepared for:

OBJECTIVE:

The student will learn the purpose and function of the experiment program counter. This will also

help the student to develop their skill when it comes on dealing the circuit board in the future. The

experiment will help the students to improve their patience skill because they will experience some errors

and problems.

EQUATIONS, GENERAL CONCEPTS AND THEORETICAL BACKGROUND:

The general concept and theoretical background of this experiment is that the program counter is

the one responsible on the registering the computer processor that contains the address of the instruction

that is being executed at the current time.

OBSERVATION AND DISCUSSION:

Base on the result of the simulation in the multism the circuit program counter works very well

and the lights in the simulation is blink correctly. The program counter is a process of registering the

address location to the computer.

CONCLUSION:

I’ve come up with the conclusion that working in the experiment helps me deeply understand the

process in the program counter. I’ve also experienced some errors and problem but after several times of

reparation I’ve managed to fix and solve the problems. For me this experiment will help us more to

understand on what is the true nature of the computer architecture and organization this will also help us

to a better computer engineers in the future.
