A broad spectrum of microorganisms is targeted by antimicrobial drugs, in which are
effective against bacteria, including mold, mildew, algae, and even viruses. Whereas antibacterial chemicals are exclusively effective against bacteria.
Bacteriostatic drugs restrict bacterial growth by interfering with their reproduction
processes, they prevent bacteria from multiplying but don't necessarily kill them.. On the other hand, Bactericidal drugs destroy bacteria by blocking cell wall formation. But antibiotics don't work on viruses because they're not like bacteria.
