1. JOB PURPOSE

Dyeing Asst. manager plays a vital role by providing accurate dyeing program (parameter, sequence, dyes &
chemical) in order to achieve highest RFT. While continuous research to reduce cycle time as well as increase
productivity is prime concern of the role, reduction in resources (e.g. water, dyes & chemicals etc) is within his
working area.

2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

Qualifications and Education: B.Sc/ M.Sc in Textile engineering (Wet Process Technology) or B.Sc/ M.Sc in
applied chemistry or B.Sc/ M.Sc in Chemical engineering

Experience: 5-8 Years of experience in dyeing & finishing unit (knit based)

Training: Training on energy control (e.g. water)

Knowledge: Knowledge on various types of fabric and their dyeing process; usage of dyes and chemicals and their
properties; various types of dyeing machines

3. S/he uses dyeing software (kandari, Sadomaster, TDH, Logicard) to create dyeing programs so that an enriched data library can be created within May 2016. (#

This job requires a lot of analysis to meet the accountabilities. S/he needs to keep himself updated with innovation
and changes to meet the demand of improving cycle time as well as RFT. S/he needs to be updated with the
properties of dyes and chemicals in order to reduce wastage as well as achieve RFT. Setting standard for each
process requires data collection from various sources and continuous research. The job is mostly a computer and
system based job.
