The anode-supported tubular and flat-tube solid oxide fuel

cell (SOFC) were fabricated and joined onto the metal

by using the induction brazing process. The gas
permeability test (Fig. 1) revels that among the filler
materials used in the induction brazing process, BNi 2 has
shown the lowest gas permeability of 1x 10-6 Lcm-2sec-1 at
pressure difference of 3 atm measured with He gas. The
electrical conductivity of anode support brazed with BNi
2 shows 450 Scm-1 at 750 oC and stable value even at the
long-term and thermal cycle tests. It could be estimated
by SEM images (Fig. 2) that the brazed joint was not
change and stable even at the thermal cycle condition.

term operation of anode-supported flat-tube cell (Fig. 3),
the stable cell performance and OCV were obtained.
