Statement of Purpose

Increasing modernization and innovation have a profound effect on today’s business world.
Purchasing, shopping, selling, discounting and promoting are all parts of business in its day to
day life. It is one field that I have extremely interested in, and would love to learn more about it.
Even though I may have a wide range of interest, I have always felt drawn to the field of
business administration because I believe that it is a really exciting environment with several
challenges and demands. However, one thing that really excites me about this is the way in
which it can both directly and indirectly influence the lives of people.

I consider myself as a forward thinker. I have the ambition, drive and ability. All of these traits
are very important in pursuing an effective business administration strategy. I have strong skills
in teamwork, and can still work on my own. As part of the University cricket team I learned how
to face challenges and how to work as a team, which resulted in us winning the tournament. This
experience improved my problem solving and decision making abilities. Being familiar with
computer applications, strong quantitative skills, as well as experience gained from Internship
and participation in different university projects helped me in developing sharp analytical
abilities and have offered me the needed confidence in tackling advanced problems at any level. I
am looking forward at applying all my abilities to the available immense potential opportunities
that are being made available with a Master’s degree.

In my bachelor’s degree, I also participated in many presentations that improved my

Interpersonal skills, which can enable me to pass on business information to my target audience,
and can also prepare well-thought out proposals and presentations for both groups and
individuals. I also learned skills like WordPress Web Development and Search Engine
Optimization which are much important in today’s digital world. These skills can also help me in
business, because digital marketing nowadays have more influence on customers rather than old
methods of marketing.

I have chosen the MBA program due to its high quality research facilities, and the theoretical and
technical skills provides by this program which will allow me to make and implement consistent
and useful strategies in a competitive business environment and other the focused areas covered
by this program. This program will also help me to acquire solid knowledge of business
processes and build strong managerial skills. I am hoping to experience a whole lot more,
learning deeper into business dynamic culture which will eventually give me an edge in working
effectively.

There are three reasons for choosing this University. First of all, it is one of the oldest and
prestigious universities in the world which holds a very good position in world QS Employability
ranking. Secondly, it provides a lot of opportunities to its students to improve their research work
and research related skills which can helps them to be a good researcher in future. Lastly, it
offers a wide range of courses compared to other top universities in the world and provides high
quality education at reasonable tuition fees.
