Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

Composition

Currently I am still studying architecture, however, I have already worked as a

junior architect.

Therefore, something that motivates me a lot is being able to work in the

professional fields that really interest me, such as design, whether it be interiors,
urban planning, landscaping and layout. I have also been able to find that the
variety of projects makes the work more pleasant, since it does not allow
monotony to stop the work. Another thing that I like about my professional career is
that it gives the possibility of independent work, as a design firm, to be able to
have a pleasant lifestyle, according to my needs and tastes. In addition, I have
been able to show in the short time that I have been working that financial
independence can easily be achieved, since the income is high and although
money is not one of the main objectives, it is a consequence of what I like to do
and it allows me have a high lifestyle. On the other hand, I have seen that at work
if you need good interpersonal relationships, because they are those that
recommend and allow you to give recognition at a professional level.

Finally, professionally it also seems pertinent that there is competition, since it

forces me to improve and motivates me to seek challenges that help me grow both
as a person and to perfect the work I do.
