ADJETIVES COMPARATIVE DEGREE:

We form the superlative degree of most adjectives by adding est to the positive
degree. If the adjective has more than two syllables, we generally form the
superlative with most. The definite article the always precedes the superlative
degree.

ADJECTTVES; COMPARATIVE DEGREE: We form degree of most adjectives by
adding er to the positive he comparative degree (Examples; tall------------taller;
cold-------colder, etc.). It the adjective has more than two syllables, we generally
form the comparative with more (Examples: difficult; beautiful; more beautiful, etc.).
The comparative form of adjectives is generally followed by than.
John is taller than his sister.
This lesson is more difficult than that one.
