Nearly 1,000 Rally Against Fed Vax Mandate

Evelyn Pyburn with the Big
Sky Business Journal reported
that nearly 1,000 Montanans
is across the state rallied against the
federal vaccine mandate targeting
healthcare workers on Sunday.
The rallies were started by
five healthcare workers in Billings,
and quickly spread to several
cities across the state. One of
the organizers is Billings nurse
Corinne Hammond.
She joined us on the Montana
Talks radio show, and says the
rallies were even bigger than she
imagined when planning first
started.
Corinne Hammond: “We just
saw a need for support. There’s
a fair amount of shaming and
bullying going on in some of the
hospitals in reference to the people
that are choosing to still not get the
vaccines. And many of the people
that are against it are just staying
quiet because of what’s happening.
And so we saw a need for support.
So we started the Facebook group,
and we saw people- as the official
mandates rolled out- we saw a

vehicle, but liability if you happen to involve other
drivers in an accident. Liability coverage can protect
your financial future should there be large third-
party claims.

wanted to do their own rally simultaneously with
Billings, and it just blossomed into 10 different towns
across Montana...We’re estimating about 1000 people
total were at all the rallies all across the state- over
200 in Billings and a ton were in Missoula. I think
about 200 in Missoula, about 100 in Bozeman, 80 in
the smaller towns like Glendive Sidney, Miles City-
which is amazing for the smaller populations.”
Forcing employees to take the COVID vaccine
is against the law in Montana, and the federal CMS
mandate targeting healthcare workers is facing a
challenge in federal court. That legal effort is being
led by Montana’s Attorney General Austin Knudsen
(R-MT). Knudsen joined other Attorneys General
across the country in successfully halting the federal
OSHA vaccine mandate.
Block of Bucks This Week!
Volunteers will be collecting donations for the
Block of Bucks on Friday, December 3rd beginning at 7
a.m. The collection boxes will be at the corners of D&G
and the U.S. Post office. They will be in operation until
4 p.m. All money collected is used to purchase warm
clothing for children, infant to 17 years.
Soroptimists, with the assistance of volunteers,
oversee the shopping spree on Saturday, December 4th.
Volunteers are needed to help on this day as well. Any
amount of volunteered time given would be greatly
appreciated. Volunteers are asked to please report to
the Elks Lodge on December 4th at 8:45 a.m. Shoppers,
it would be very helpful for you to have your own pen,
paper, & calculator. A clipboard comes in handy too.

together sharing pastures and ranges, equipment and
labor, herding and branding, and repairing equipment....
old fashioned common sense.
That same practice can apply to the common prosperity
of the 4 entities of St. Marie!...the Water/Sewer District,
Village Association, Fire District, and Condo Association.
It can be extended to the Owners, Investors, Valley
County, as well as State and Federal Governments.
Working together for THE GOOD of ALL is key.
Common prosperity and financial sustainability should
be the goal. We are all INTERDEPENDENT.
Relating to the 4 St. Marie entities...Can we blend
and share labor and services? Can we combine Legal
and Insurance needs? ...bundled pricing? Can we share
contract labor for better pricing? Legally separate but
WORKING in COOPERATION? Cost savings as a
result.
With the cooperation and support of the County,
State, and Federal Governments their revenues will
increase. We are all interdependent...a Win, Win, Win
solution!
