Pride and Prejudice

“When you make the sacrifice in marriage, you’re sacrificing not to each
other but to unity in a relationship.”

I agree with this because marriage is not just about sacrificing for your partner. Unity is
important for a healthy and strong relationship as it strengthens the bonds between partners.

“Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes
care of itself.”

I disagree with this because winning does not come easily. Just making yourself look good in
front of others will not automatically help you in the future.

“Immature love says: ‘I love you because I need you.’ Mature love says ‘I
need you because I love you.’

I agree with this because when your love isn’t real, you normally say you love someone
because you need something they have. If your love is real, you would normally say you
need to be with someone because you love them.

“Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is

what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.”
