Clothe Production

A small workshop in Bali produces clothes. A javanase tailor works in the workshop. His name is Mitra.
He works with Raini as a team. Raini makes designs and Mitra technically translates the design into
patterns. Nearly all fabrics are natural fibers. Mitra and Raini employ different techniques to work on the
material. Before they use the fabrics, they dye and test them. This task takes about two or three weeks.
The patterning takes another four weeks. Then the production can start by cutting the fabric and
explaining to all different tailors how they have to work in the finishing. Finally all clothes are checked on
faults and measurements. They can be packed and shipped to other countries. The total production
takes minimum three to five months.
