International GEO Scholarship Terms and Conditions:

The International GEO offers a special tuition rate that provides significant savings from the published international
tuition rates. Please see the chart below for estimated savings.

*Based on minimums of 24 credit hours per year for IEP and Undergraduate full-time status; minimum 18 credit hours per year for Graduate.

The tuition discount is for the IEP is valid for the completion of the IEP. If the student continues on to pursue an SIUE
bachelor’s or master’s degree, the student may continue to receive the award for up to 128 credits for a bachelor’s
program or 36 credits for a master’s program, if eligible. Coursework completed outside of the specified programs may
not be eligible for the discount. Continuance of the award requires full-time enrollment each semester (minimum of 12
credit hours per semester for IEP and undergraduate, 9 credit hours per semester for graduate). Scholarship students
must remain in good academic standing while holding the award and abide by the University academic policy as stated
in the catalog and student handbook found at www.siue.edu/academics.

Award Selection:

Please complete and upload this GEO Award Response Form under the requirement “GEO Award Response Form” on
your International Immigration Application. Select enrollment status by marking the line to the left of the appropriate
statement:

scholarship. By signing below I understand that the following conditions apply:

• I must return this acceptance notification as soon as possible or risk forfeiting the award.
• I must enroll full-time each term in my intensive English program or degree granting program.
• I must enroll as an International Student, maintain my international student status for the duration of my degree
program, and maintain compliance with all U.S. Immigration regulations.
• I must maintain good academic standing (a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 for UG/3.0 for G) and continue
to make satisfactory progress toward my degree each term.
• I will abide by the Student Conduct Code at SIUE.
• I understand that this award can only be used for coursework that satisfies the graduation requirements for my
Intensive English program, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program.
