Pupils can pretend their minibeast is real, and they need to describe how it moves, what it
eats in scientific terms. They can extend their artwork to include the habitat e.g. a flower.

Alternatively, you can ask pupils to use their imagination and create their ‘super
minibeast’ with their own adaptations.

How to review
Rotate around each groups artwork and ask them to present what they have created and
give a description of their minibeast, its habitat, threats to the minibeast etc.
