community or the internet.

and types.

What is Cyber Bullying?
Cyberbullying is the act of
bullying, saying offensive
and inappropriate
words/jokes to a person,
giving emotional and mental
damage to them, by the
means of using the
internet.

WHEN AND WHERE: Online/ The Internet,
Recently during this pandemic. The article
was written in 2020.
HOW: UNESCO warns of the increasing
reports of cyberbullying during the
pandemic and parents and schools should
be aware of any online material or content
their children are receiving from others.
WHY: This information should help give an
eye-opener to many of the audiences.
Because it can affect one's reputation and
mental well-being, which can further result
in trauma and lower a person's self-esteem,
this may also lead to suicide and depression.

Online Scams are an illegal method of gaining


money from other people by deceiving and
frauding them with things such as items,
investments, or even jobs.

WHAT: A Nigerian and a Filipina
accomplice in an online scam
have been caught.
WHO: THE PEOPLE INVOLVE IN
THIS CASE ARE: THE NIGERIAN
AND FILIPINA - THE SUSPECT;
AND ONE VICTIM
WHEN AND WHERE: THE
INCIDENT HAPPENED IN SAN
CARLOS CITY, PANGASINAN,
FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

HOW: On the victim's side, he met someone
through a dating app. They had an online
relationship until the suspect says a package
containing our dollars has been shipped. The
victim received a phone call from a particular
customs office and informed the victim that
the packaging was possible due to a large
number of dollars. He was also offered some
help in exchange for money, not knowing he
was being fooled. Follow the suspect's orders
to receive the money, but was not be able to
receive the package. This was when the victim
realized that he had been betrayed. The
suspect demanded some money from the
victim and insisted on sending it via Smart
Padala. The case was resolved the moment the
victim sought help.

WHY: This type of scenario is necessary for
the audience to grasp what scammers can
accomplish. This is not the first occurrence
but being informed benefits everyone and
reduces cases all over the world. Do not
put your trust in others; when it comes to
money, we must be extremely cautious
because scammers abound. We may not
perceive it, yet it exists. The lesson to be
learned from the aforementioned instance
is to not trust and communicate with
questionable people. Yes, dating apps are
now popular, but it is safer to know where
and when to stop so that we are not duped
by anyone.

thoughts, claiming them as yours or not

how serious it is. We should know that

taking credit for it is wrong.
