CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN AHRI STANDARDS
ACTIVITIES
AHRI’s Standards team is seeking volunteers to participate
in the review and final approval of AHRI standards to be
published as an American National Standard (ANS) or Na-
tional Standard of Canada (NSC). This final approval is the
responsibility of a group called a Consensus Body. AHRI
needs experts in the field of HVACR to serve as members
of the Consensus Body.
As required by the American National Standards Institute
(ANSI), membership in a Consensus Body must represent a
balance of interests, so AHRI is going outside of its manu-
facturer-centered membership to include persons represent-
ing other interests. AHRI membership is not required for
participation.
