How big of an effect and influence does capitalism have on climate change, specifically in the fossil

fuel and energy industry?

When I and my group did our presentation, we hinted on the topic but our focus was on a

different subject matter. The material I researched at the time left me with more questions than

answers. Do Amazon, Tesla and all other big money companies contribute more to climate

change then they donate? If so, why has there not been a significant finger pointed at them?

Where exactly are the roots of the problem? What is the history behind it? What caused it to be

the way is it? What will the world look like without the oil industry? How close are we to getting

there? What are the major push backs we are currently faced with? How can we resolve this?
