To prepare maintenance plans, the recommendations of the equipment manufacturers and the
regulations that exist dictated by the General Maritime Directorate must be considered.
Maintenance Plans will be applied to:

internal verification system of procedures and activities of the prevention plans, the
development of awareness programs and compliance with current legislation.
 Train and improve the skills and reaction capabilities of our staff through continuous
training on board and on the ground; Actively promote employee participation in measures
to improve safety and protection of the environment.
 Maintain high standards of safety awareness, personal discipline, and individual
responsibility by complying with a comprehensive and documented training system.
 Take all necessary measures to prevent illegal traffic and all kinds of criminal actions
 Continually review all mandatory rules, regulations, industry codes and guidelines that are
relevant to the types of vessels the company operates.
 Prohibit the inappropriate use of authorized drugs for medical purposes and the use,
possession, distribution or selling illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages.
 Prohibit the carrying and use of tobacco or cigars on board the ships to all the people in
them boarding or any other person who must carry out, or not, any task on board, allowing
smoke only in open places and in the sectors designated for this purpose.

Procedure for selection and hiring of personnel.

 Candidates' resumes are shortlisted and summoned to company facilities. The candidate
is interviewed.
 It will be verified that you comply with the documentation required by Colombian
regulations to perform in your position (title / navigation license, courses, medical
certification)
 If the person is selected, the contract will be drawn up, the security agreement is signed,
the worker joins the social security system, the card is delivered, a copy of the EPS and ARL
affiliations and a copy of the description of the position and functions.
