Ireland
My country I would like to visit is Ireland because it has a rich music and art culture.

Ireland also has many historical and beautiful places to tour; it would be a place far different than

Oklahoma. The places that I would like to visit in Ireland would be Dublin, Galway, Killarney,

Book of Trinity College and Limerick. Before I leave the United States, I would book a plane

and fly to Ireland and probably land in Dublin first. I would also have to make sure I exchange

my money over to the euro currency because that is what they used in Ireland. There are a

variety of places to stay in Dublin, however I would like to experience more of the local scene by

finding a bed and breakfast, a smaller Inn or even perhaps a room over a pub.

I would want to try the local cuisine. I’ve only seen the more common foods in movies

and tv shows, but it looks good, and I’d love to try everything. Eric wrote an article on what

Ireland is famous for. “Ireland is also known to produce one of the best lamb, beef, pork, and

seafood.” Eric. Starting in Dublin I would like to try of the local favorites, Irish Stew has a beef

stock base, with garlic, Irish Guinness Beer, red wine, potatoes, carrots and mutton or lamb. I

would also explore the town of Dublin because it looks like such a beautiful place in the movies

and in books.

The Book of Trinity College is the oldest college in Ireland and is also in Dublin think it

would be interesting to compare it to my college. Amélie Canadian wrote an article on Five

interesting place to visit in Ireland. “Trinity College is Ireland’s oldest university that was

founded in the 15th century by Queen Elizabeth I. Its ancient architecture is still intact and as

you enter the premises, it gives a true feeling of going back to ancient times, quite contrary to the
bustling city of Dublin.” Amélie Canadian. Most of the people in Ireland speak English, however

you will also hear Irish (Gaeilge). I would plan on renting a car so I could explore whenever I

wanted and to go to as many places as possible. There would also be plenty of areas to explore

on foot, or perhaps even a bicycle.

In Ireland I would want to visit the Galway cities, “10 Best Places to Visit in Ireland.”

Wrote an article on the best places visit in Ireland. “West Ireland’s largest city, Galway is best

known for its art galleries and shops, most of which are located along the winding lanes and

cobblestone streets of the city’s charming medieval quarter. With several live music venues and

a thriving pub scene, Galway is considered a major center for traditional Irish music as well.” 10

Best Places to Visit in Ireland. This also sounds like a good place to explore by walking,

especially if you were going to check out the many pubs. The 10 Best Places to Visit in Ireland

Wrote an article on the best places to visit in Ireland “The harbor city is also known as one of the

few places left in Ireland where the Irish language is still spoken on the streets” 10 Best Places to

Visit in Ireland.” When I get there, I would probably walk around and explore the Galway’s

cities.

The town of Killarney would be my next stop, Biege, Bernd wrote a article on why

Killarney Ireland is must see town. “Nestling between high hills and large lakes, Killarney is in

the southern part of County Kerry. The landscape is nothing short of spectacular and comes with

a stunning and scenic drive to the town.” Biege, Bernd. I like the outdoors and know I would

enjoy taking advantage of the beautiful walking trails, hiking, biking, and visiting the Killarney

National Park. Killarney is also known place that’s brings has many tourists because it so

popular that why I would also want to visit there. Biege, Bernd also wrote about how the

Killarney is one of top tourist places to go. “Killarney remains one of the top tourist destinations
for both Irish and foreign visitors. Tourism is very important to the town and many of the local

businesses are set up to take care of visitors. Though there are some factories outside of town,

the hospitality sector and smaller shops dominate the town center.” Biege, Bernd

My last stop would be Limerick Ireland because it is the oldest city and when I get there I

would walk around and explore all the neat places. The 10 Facts You Didn't Know about

Limerick who wrote an article on the facts about the town of limerick. “Limerick is home to the

largest Georgian Quarter in Ireland outside Dublin!” 10 Facts You Didn't Know about

Limerick.” They are also known for their Irish drinks (lots of beer) and coffee. However, the

main reason I would put this on city on my list to visit is because of the history there. I’m sure

the architecture would provide many photo opportunities and plenty of interesting places to

explore like King John’s Castle. King John’s Castle has interactive exhibits, touch screens and

displays for visitors to enjoy. They also have reenactments during the year featuring

stonemasons, blacksmiths, and soldiers, it would be a great way to learn more about their history.
