3 TECHNOLOGY TRENDS

(Smart Phones)
Pros:
*You can make the world listen to your voice in a touch.

*You can spend your time wisely reading the news or doing some official work.

*Can entertain yourself with games, music or movies.

*You may know where you are and find easy ways and routes to go anywhere, especially in an
unknown place.

*Keep your loved ones in touch, either through calls, text or images, which express the feeling in a
sweet and amusing way.

*Can always be available socially.

*Can avail the Customer service offers to be easily accessible.

*Food and groceries can be ordered online.

*Email and Banking become easy.

*Endless apps are available to make your dreams come true.

Cons:
*The electromagnetic radiation will be high because of the heavy internet usage and might lead to
health problems such as brain tumor and skin cancer.

*The HEV light emitted from the screen of a smartphone leads to severe eye-strain during long-time
use and would slowly damage the retina.

*Even many psychological issues such as loneliness, being suspicious all the time, feeling self-centered
etc. Are caused by using smartphone and being online, for most of the time.

*Spending most of the time on your phone creates neck problems and sleep deprivation.

*Exposure to unwanted things on the internet affects a child’s growth mentally and even physically.

*As too much of anything is good for nothing, depending on a smartphone for everything makes you
addicted.
(Computer)
Pros:
*Multitasking- multitasking is one of the major advantage of computer. Person can perform multiple
task, multiple operation, calculate numerical problems within few seconds. Com puter can perform
trillion of instructions per second.

*Speed- now computer is not just a calculating device. Now a day’s computer has very important role
in human life. One of the main advantages of computer is its incredible speed, which helps human to
complete their task in few seconds. All the operations can be performed very fast just because of its
speed elsewise it takes a long time to perform the task.

*Cost/ stores huge amount of data- it is a low cost solution. Person can save huge data within a low
budget. Centralized database of storing information is the major advantage that can reduce cost.
*Accuracy- one of the root advantage of computer is that can perform not only calculations but also
with accuracy.

*Data Security - protecting digital is known as data security. Computer provide security from
destructive forces and from unwanted action from unauthorized users like cyber attack or access
attack.

Cons:
*Virus and hacking attacks- virus is a worm and hacking in simply an unauthorized access over
computer for some illicit purpose. Virus is being transferred from email attachment, viewing an
infected website advertisement, through removable device like USB etc. Once virus is transferred in
host computer it can infect file, overwrite the file etc.

*Online Cyber Crimes- Online cyber-crime means computer and network may have used in order to
commit crime. Cyberstalking and identity theft are the points which comes under online cyber-crimes.

*Reduction in employment opportunity- Mainly past generation was not used of the computer or
they have the knowledge of computer they faced a big problem when computer came in the field. As
we have seen in banking sector senior bank employees faced this problem when computer came to
the banking sector.

(Digital Camera)
Pros:
*Eliminates Film and Film Processing– This is probably the most significant of all its advantages. You
do not have to spend your time and energy in developing the roll of film in a dark room. Using a
digital camera, means that you can take pictures without paying for film or wondering which type of
film to buy, in fact, you will never have to buy film again.

*Large Photo Storage– Digital cameras can easily store up to 10,000 photos, depending on the size of
the memory card and the quality of pictures you are taking. This completely outweighs the storage
capacity of traditional roll film cameras.

*Operating Speed– In case of earlier cameras, one always had to “wind” the film after clicking a
photograph. This led to a certain amount of time delay and inconvenience to the user. With digital
cameras, no such activity is required. You simply point and shoot.
*Face Detection– High-end digital cameras have been thoroughly designed for face detection through
the camera lens. Minimizing the instances of getting all those blurry faces and red-eye photographs!
Motion Detection– These days, high-end digital cameras also come equipped with inbuilt motion
detection features which adjust moving images and thus, avoiding blurriness. This becomes
particularly helpful when taking pictures of moving objects; like a car race or a soccer game in
progress.
Cons:
* Memory Card Problems– All the photographs, video clips, etc., are stored on a memory card. In
certain rare cases, the memory card can become corrupt or can develop other issues which can result
in permanent loss of data.

*Higher Initial Cost– High-end, fully-loaded digital cameras tend to be a little bit pricey as compared
to roll film cameras.

*Battery Consumption– Battery consumption depletes more quickly in digital cameras. This makes it
necessary to keep a few extra batteries in hand, especially during extensive photo sessions.

*Image Resolution– 35mm film has an image resolution that is roughly equivalent to a 25 megapixel
full frame sensor. While digital image sensors continue to improve and digital cameras get better
every day in general, film images still wins when it comes to resolution and quality.

*Range- Film has a higher superior dynamic range than digital cameras. This means that film can
capture a wider range of tonal quality. This is a huge factor in overall image quality because it means
it is harder to overexpose an image using film. Film typically can produce different shades of white
which helps prevent overexposure of highlights. This means that film has the advantage when it
comes to capturing shades of light especially at sunrise or sunset.
